Here is a condition report for 1969 71B.
The QR211 gear on the bottom of the reversing transmission is Poor. Very little
crown on top of the teeth. The F11 gear, that the QR211 gear engages into is Fair to good. Hook rollers are good & tight to the roller path and the roller path is also good. Hook roller adjustment is at 1/4 of total available. Track pins are good.. About 1/8 " clearance. Swing clutch drums have very little wear Hoist clutch and brake drum Good. Drag clutch and brake drum poor to fair. Track tumblers and chain sprockets are good. All good lining. Sheet metal good but could use paint. Bottom track rollers good Track nubs have about 3/4" clearance to the brg caps. Axles are tight to the carbody. Reversing transmission gears Excellent. Catwalks good. F1 swing gear Excellent Swing Rack is good. 25,000 pounds of counterweight plus two Kidney weights. 90 feet of good boom Double Sheave in the point as was originally a clam machine 7,000 hrs applied to the machine in the last 30 years since it was changed to a drag.
The machine is rated good or very good for its age.
